My top priority is to continue to work with the Premier and my BC Liberal colleagues to ensure our plans for economic recovery are carried out successfully. We must continue on a path that improves our health care, our education system, and services for children, seniors and families.
An important part of those plans is the huge opportunity we have to capitalize on the 2010 Winter Olympic & Paralympic Games. The excitement of the 2010 Games will focus the world’s attention on British Columbia as a great place to visit, a great place to do business, and a great place to live and raise a family.
And, more importantly, the spirit of 2010 will encourage individual British Columbians to build upon their own optimism and their vision for the future. Under a BC Liberal government, British Columbia will lead the way for Canada and the continent into the 21st Century.
